Our Story
Auraya Health Uganda was founded on the belief that healthcare should be a fundamental right accessible to every person, regardless of their economic or social status. Beginning with small community health camps, we quickly recognized the critical need for preventive care, health education, and early intervention services. What started as a grassroots initiative has grown into a comprehensive healthcare organization reaching thousands across Uganda. Today, we partner with schools, community organizations, and healthcare providers to deliver integrated health services that address both immediate needs and long-term wellness. Our approach combines direct service delivery with capacity building, ensuring sustainable impact. From school health screenings to chronic disease management, from youth empowerment to community education — we're building a healthier Uganda, one life at a time.

Auraya Health Uganda is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making healthcare accessible, preventive, and equitable for all Ugandans. We focus on preventive health services, community education, school health programs, and chronic conditions awareness.

While we focus primarily on preventive health, health education, and screening services, we work closely with healthcare facilities and partners to ensure individuals who need treatment are connected to appropriate medical care.
We currently serve multiple communities across Uganda, with a focus on underserved areas. We work in schools, communities, and workplaces to reach people where they are. Our impact extends to over 20,000 people and 12 partner schools.
Every donation directly supports our health programs. For example, 10,000 UGX can fund a child's full health check-up. We maintain transparency in our operations and provide regular updates on how funds are utilized to maximize community impact.
YOWI Club is our Youth Empowerment initiative that engages young people in health awareness and wellness activities. It empowers youth to become health advocates in their communities and schools.
